Wild bird shots with 17-85mm lens ^^

I guess I was lucky when I took those two pictures because even at 85mm I had to get really close to those birds and of course I had to crop those picture quite extensively.

The photo of the red wing black bird is nice. The first one is nice too but the orange twigs? are taking away from the bird. It is really nice for what you had to work with.

I guess I was just too occupied with trying not to scare the bird away while slowly approaching it and didn't notice those stupid twigs -.- Thanks for the kind comment though

Looks good. I like both pics... i like how the red is on the wing in the second pic though.
