It did not start, no rumors at all, just asking for possibilities, cause' I love DxO's products but having it in the workflow is no-no.

DxO Optics Pro editing software. Very good. Fully integrated with all of their lab measurements so it can compensate for specific camera body and lens combinations.

I suggest you not to if you don't have any problem now. I don't like the program. I was attracted by the fact that it turns all cheap lenses to pro quality, but it's color rendering is very bad. It is best used at the beginning of the workflow but it doesn't work well. I've decided to put it on almost the last part of my workflow or just ditch it. It corrects for optical imperfection but if color rendering and user interface is not good, it's no good.

Given how Adobe have an extensive set of correctional filters for a very large variety of lenses in CameraRAW already I don't see how buying DxO can be of any benefit at this point. It basically undoes 2 years of their work. It would have made sense two years ago before they started with Lens Profiles.

Also you got a lens that doesn't have a profile? Use Adobe's Lens Profile Creator, which is a free download from adobelabs

DxO Optics Pro is still much more accurate from what I've seen.
