Windsurfing On A Cold Minnesota Day. Brrrrrrrrr

I was on my way down from Silver Bay to winona (6.5 hr drive) and happened to see a lone windsurfer out on lake pepin. Well I needed a leg stretch, so I thought I would stop and see who it was and take some pics. These are a few of them. It was about 30 minutes before sunset, it was overcast and it was cold(35 degrees), but i still had fun.

Nice series for you just needing to stretch your legs!
The multiple exposure one is very effective. I so like how, the more speed he takes up, the distances become longer. So quite apparently you know very well what you were doing there. I would not even know how to begin.......... :roll: Ah well. Eventually...!

Thanks for the comments. I love doing sequence photos. Either each it is own frame or all in one. i have to say water textures are a pain in the butt when trying to make everything look seamless. I am going to try and do more of these next summer. The guys at the beach are stoked to have photos of them in action.

These are really good shots - I think that second is my fave - the water is crisp and clear. Great series! :thumbup:

And WOW, does it look cold!! Not a sport for me if the temperature is below 80 degrees.
