Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi all,

All shot with a 70-300 AF-S VR Nikkor Lens on a Nikon D40, what do you think of the following photos?

I hope you enjoy them!
Thank you for your time.

Kind regards,

While they do look to be underexposed, sometimes I find with my shots I like the overall effect an underexposed pics gives me. Maybe this is a moody shot the OP is trying to achieve.

I really think the first would like nice with the sun lower in the horizon.

The second is competing for my attention. the road leading down the lane and the trees in the field seem slanted which I find distracting. I know its just the way the lines go.

Third I think if this had been exposed properly would have been a winner for me. Pathway and fence lead you right through the frame.

4th is ok but its underexposed and the thing in the field bugs me. I would like to be able to focus on the walking kids? but the slide? draws me away.

Again just my 2cp.

I really like the first image. I like the dark mood with the color of the sun.
You can also try cropping this image to portrait style and see how that works with the height of the sun in this image.

Try cropping it 5 trees from the left side.

the 1st pic is so beautiful. dont let anyone tell you different. I would pay to have this blown up in my house. good job.

with the 4th pic i didnt even notice the slide. The sun, kids and the road caught my eye immediately. good job.

Thank you Corv Photography for the lovely comment, very kind of you!
And I won't let anyone tellme different, thanks for that! :)
'm really glad you like it and I'm honoured by your comment 'I would pay to have this blown up in my house'!

With the 4th pic, the slide was just there, it is actually something farmers use on their land and therefore I wanted it to be in the photo. And the fact that the kids were there just made the photo as it is, more lively I guess!
Thanks again for your comments, I appreciate it deeply!
