Please let me know what you think and how I could improve them. There are a few HDR's mixed in, all of them were shot with a canons90. Thanks.

sec and last photos are nice.

1 - I would make the snow whiter, and make the shadows darker so there is much more contrast.
2 - I feel like the whole picture is too dark. And some slight halos around the branches (or maybe I'm just not seeing it correctly. Hm.)
3 - Snow is overexposed a bit.
4 - Bring brightness + contrast up, and I think it would be okay.
5 - My favourite one. Then again, it could be brighter.

Just my take. ;)

I like 2. Everything seems to be metered pretty well and the colors are nice. The rest are a bit drab and might benefit from better pp. too dark.

I like all of them except the second one. I think it's not well composed.
I'm a complete newbie as you may have guessed, but anyways, I like participating =P

First one is definitely exposed the best. Something about it though, I can't put my finger on it.

The second one is my favorite shot. There is such a dark, dreary, dead feeling about it. It seems slightly underexposed. How many images bracketed images did you use? Unless it is not HDR and I am going crazy :p

The third one in my opinion is boring. I think it might just be the angle, but it does nothing for me.

I feel like there is way too much going on in the 4th one. A change of scenery with less could benefit this one. Also seems underexposed.

Last but not least, number five. Seems underexposed as well. I think you could have benefited from looking more left. The biggest trees on the right are kind of distracting.

Okay thanks for the comments guys. I will play around with the exposure and contrast on the ones mentioned. Also, thanks for the notes on taking the shots.

The HDR's were taken using the cameras auto bracket (so 3 shots).

If i took the time to clone out the thistles in the background of #1 do you think it would make it better?
