"Wish List"

My wish list, given I am just started out, is quite simple.
At the moment I just have the D3300 with the kit lense.

Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8g - This will definitely be my next purchase.
A good zoom lense - something that goes to at least 200mm (wouldn't know what yet, that will be a while away).

I already have access to dad's lenses which includes and older macro lense, this would be on the list too otherwise (I like macro photography, and take a fair few photos of my painted tabletop minatures).

My wish list is simple... An adapter to mount my Canon 500 F4 on a D500... Sigh

Damn, that lens kicks butt

also a 8-800mm f1.8 wide angle fish-eye, telephoto lens.

Yeah, it would be really great if there was some kind of international standardization comitee that would have forced Pentax, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Minolta and others to have the exact same SLR mount.

So you could use Canon glas on a Pentax camera and Olympus glas on a Nikon camera etc.

Unfortunately there was no such thing and of course these companies prefer to lock you into their system and make it really hard to switch.
