I really like what you did here. For me your photo is more about shape, light, pattern and sculpture than it is about a dragon. I like that.

I really like the first one, the angle works very well!

I agree, the first shot is a lot more sculpteriffic...new word there, but it works.
In the second shot perhaps a shallower DOF would have worked well too in order to bring the subject away from the buildings a little more. Nice pictures.
