It certainly has the potential to be used as a display. Although, I have to wonder how bright it would be since there is no backlighting and only ambient light is used?

Two different pixels, as display pixel emits, camera sensor pixels receives. In a camera sensor I've always been under the belief that the larger the sensor the more light gathering ability. In camera viewing isnt really a big thing, so not sure that increased resolution on the screen would be that useful. Having the increased resolution on a display could be interesting.
