Wonky Horizon Lines

you need to watch for this issue when composing your shot and then adjust the camera angle to compensate. Not always easy to adjust perfectly in post.

The photo with the tilted horizon looks great, the edited version with the straightened horizon and tilted family looks off. I actually like the tilted horizon in this particular case, it adds to the photo.

I think the second one looks better. The horizon line I would have used is the line of mountains that are at the furthest point of the frame and not any of the rocks close by.

The first photo is nice as it is. Worrying obsessively about horizon lines is an early sign of digital dementia...
