A) It' be nice if you put two spaces between your photo links to not have them right next to each other, but one below the other and a space inbetween.

B) You apparently planned to capture him pecking away, showing his fast movements, going for a lot of motion blur. OK, but to me this no longer is a photo of a woodpecker then. What would I call it? I don't know. Woodpeckeraction. But for that he's too small and too far away... But at least you GOT a photo of a woodpecker. For me, after more than 35 years of taking photos, one of those STILL is on my list...

Thanks to both of you, I was trying to show the wing & head movement mostly. I have a bunch of shots of this bird but found these two the most interesting.
