Wrist straps

I'm after a wrist strap like this canon one that will fit a Nikon D70s. A guy in a shop told me that the Nikons are a universal fit whereas canon's have their own that are made by canon. i read item descriptions of optech straps but they're really confusing. which one will fit my nikon?
