Wrong place and wrong time but we got it.

A Calliope hummingbird that is.

First reported one in Ontario and it's really not the weather it wants to be in. Must have got it's wires crossed just to get up here but at least it has a great home owner that has set up a heated area and food for it.

Lol. Nice photos! This year I actually saw a hummingbird in Alaska before seeing one here in Pa. That was weird for me.

[zombiesniper148 13]

Lol.

Thank you.

Ya, it's been weird this year for some of the rare species.

P.S. We still have a bedroom if you want to come up and shoot Snowies.

Trevor, two great shots!

That's crazy. A hummingbird in November. Great shot of the snowy, I'll be heading up your way this winter. I'm surprised that they've arrived already.

[zombiesniper148 13]

Thank you.

Yes the snowies come early but they're not reliable until mid Jan - Late Feb.

LOL! I was trying to find them. Project Snowstorm and Amherst Island Radio tell me there is 10 on Amherst Island. I was there. There are NONE! Oh by the way.... not talking to you anymore!
