WTB - Tripod/Stand for my Nikon D3100

Looking for something on the cheaper side. Can't afford much. Does anyone have something like this or know of a place to get what I'm looking for?

What exactly are you looking for? Tripods are pretty universal. Any tripod should work, as long as it's not a very small one, designed for point & shoot size cameras.

You can probably find something in the $30-$40 range, at any Wal-mart or photography store. It wouldn't be a great tripod, and you'd likely want or need to replace it soon or later, but sometimes a cheap tripod is better than no tripod.

If you can afford to spend something like $250-$300 (or more) then you could probably get a tripod that could last a lifetime. Consider it a good investment.

If you look around on the used market, classifieds etc., you might be able to find a much nicer tripod for a good price. I've got something like 10 tripods, and maybe only one or two were bought new.

Check out Ebay or Craigslist (only meet up in a busy public place though). The D3100 is a nice light weight camera, so you don't need a monster tripod. So you should be able to pick up something for $40-60.
