#1 seems more dramatic to me, but it's unfortunate that the waterfall is not sufficiently in focus. One of the things that heightens the drama for me is that the background is out of focus.

#2 I like the wood texture in the foreground of this one but it is a bit too hyperfocal for my taste. I dislike that there's a further waterfall obscured by trees in this one.

Overall, good shots. Certainly better than my attempts at waterfall photography

I prefer #1 for more dramatic perspective and more accentuated diagonals. It brings you into the scene.
