Just upgraded to Lightroom 4...im loving it

this one was Xprocessed but i converted it BnW and i thought this was a good look for this pic

My favorite is 3. Loved the simplicity of it. The girls face in 6 seems kind of washed out because of the sun, but overall nice B&W capture.

thanks may sound weird but i kinda went for that effect her whole face was actually washed out i had to brush in the shadows to kill the sun a little that was the most natural looking i could get it without looking super noticeable

i liked how i caught her surprised to see me taking her picture

i like number 6 but as said before her face looks a little blown out maybe you could tone it down post process

its not a dumb question but the answer is actually no filters used... well i actually tweaked the curves and other adjustments manually in Lightroom 4 (if that counts as a filter) and saved it as a preset if anyone would like to use it i would be glad to share
