I'm experimenting and I thought these were kind of cool looking, but I could be way off.. Do these work? I'm totally loving my macro lens..So fun!! :thumbup:

I'm expecting something else in this. It's not really telling me anything. The 2nd one is a bit better with the noise, but a corner is sharp while the rest is not and that seems like a contradiction. Maybe color would have helped? Sorry, but I have to give a nay. But what do I know. There's stuff I like on your blog better.

My eye is searching for an area of focus in the first image. I think your focus can be very shallow, but your focal plane/point should draw attention to what you want us to see.

Looks like fun. Can't wait to see more.

Definite nay on number two. Not diggin that at all.

Number one, similar to what someone wrote above...my eye too is looking for a focus point...and there is none...so I'm left wondering around the image. I think if there was some places in focus it would be cool. Take a look at the pic Sleist put up in a thread somewhere, lol...I think in the nature forum, he has tack sharp and nice and soft all in one image..and it blends nicely. Personally, I have no idea how to do that yet...not saying you should mimic him...but I just think in your first image, if it had that kinda of mix and blend...it would work.

I would of loved to see this in colour, also you could try to add more contrast
