Yay or nay?

I was shooting a local dancer's portfolio today... this is one of the shots I took when I was fine-tuning the lighting (You know, I don't miss Polaroids one little bit?) and wasn't really paying attention to the composition (hence the missing hands). Does this crop (which is as good as I can get it) work or does it look awkward?

Are you planning to edit out the seam on her side? That's throwing me off a bit.

I'm not digging her missing hands, I keep thinking of tentacles when I see her arms. So ya, awkward for me.

Hands are such in integral and important element of dance. I this case, the missing hands make the subject appear awkward, so unfortunately it doesn't work.
