What's new

Yeah I've done it...

Good luck on the project. That shot looks very nice though a little dark for my tast.

thanks reed! :sillysmi:

e.rose, I love the pic a week idea and wish you great success. Have fun with it and try to get some shots that you might not ordinarily shoot. In my opinion(and that's what this is) I think that if taking a photo a week becomes too much of a chore, then you need to set aside photography for awhile until your love and passion for it comes back!

My thoughts exactly! My friend and I already agreed that if either of us has a busy week, we can skip that week if the need be (which is why I called it the "52 week (or so) project" on my blog, haha), but I don't anticipate that happening too often. Maybe when I'm backlogged with editing a few shoots, I'll need to take a break, but as of right now I have more free time than I know what to do with, due to our EXTREMELY slow schedule at work, so it's not a problem.

I took a whack at giving the foreground more detail. Obviously kind of sketchy due to the small jpeg to work with and introduced some noise.

Looks awesome :sillysmi: Thanks for taking the time to edit! I will probably mess with it some more based on all of your feedback. :sillysmi:

thanks :sillysmi:

didnt mean to seem negative.

all im saying is you should shoot for yourself, not for some 52 week project. i know you are doing the project for yourself, but i mean...

I am shooting for myself. :sillysmi: Sometimes I just need a break from dark clubs, smokey atmospheres, and getting checked in the ribs multiple times by flailing elbows. :sexywink: The 52 week project is just another form of motivation, amongst several others, I give myself to get out and shoot :sillysmi:

I *promise* I'm not feeling any sort of pressure from this... and like I said, if one week I have to skip it because I'm working on another project, or I'm just busy, then I just skip that week. There's nothing forced about it for me. I'm not going to feel stressed and think "Shoot! I need to do my 52 week project and the deadline for this week is tomorrow and I haven't even *thought* about it yet!", while I'm working on another project, haha. I just won't do anything for that week (Well, aside from the other project that I'd be working on that kept me from doing the "52 week" image in the first place). :sillysmi:
