To be honest, I actually liked the first one because of the mixture of blue and purplish pink in the sky. I'm not sure if it will work, but you can try making the buildings in the first pic stand out by adjusting the brightness.

Actually i don't know how the sky developed that pink colour, be it a bless or curse; if we store films for long time in unprotected conditions, will that happen?

Grain may be because of a fast shutter
