Yellow Dots Everywhere

I like this shot with all the little yellow points all over, but it seems something is missing. Are the whites not bright enough?

I like the dots too but to me the whites are on the verge of being blown. The strange color/shape in the upper left corner is very distracting.

Thanks, I was trying to make sure I kept some detail in the petals but I wanted it to be bright to accentuate the yellow.

I suppose I can crop a tad off the left to remove that. I think it is another flower on the Magnolia behind.
