darkening the sky needs more work because this way is'n good.

a slightly different composition would benefit the scene. I can't decide what you tried to show me- to a viewer. The tree and the bench, two trees, yellow and red and green...

i like to show the whole scene in some of my photos much like your city photos on your Flickr account i do how ever agree on the sky problem, ive been having a time working out the d610 and cant get the skys how i would like them, also im getting a lot of blue only fringing im going to get myself a gray card for white balance but any ideas about the sky could save me hours of wasted time lol cheers

Were you getting blue fringing with this particular frame? A little unusual that blue/purple fringing should be a problem in a scene like this. How do you address the fringing in post? I find that Lightroom is a great tool for this and other CA-type problems, as you have fine control with it. Stopping down often ameliorates fringing. How about a circular polarizer filter?

You can see the blue fringing clear as a bell around the tree line and also the gaps of the trees have it.

I would have loved to see this as a yellow leaved tree, and bench.
Something like this (the image is too small to really get a good feel for where to crop it, but this is close.
Or reversed like the 2nd.
I would love to see someone sitting on the bench looking forlorn off into the distance.
