Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
In June of 2011 - I took a trip to Yellowstone. Here are some of the photos that I took while I was there. I would like to get some feedback. Just looking to improve my techniques.

The light was not your friend on this trip. 1, 3 and 5 are too dark. 2 is pretty nice but the face of your subject is lost in a shadow. All of these things can be easily remedied. But as they are your last shot is the best of the bunch. I actually really like that one.

Unfortunately, that was the lighting that I had from good ole mother nature. For photo 1) It was really foggy and raining at that and obviously dark. Same with 3 and 5. So, I made due with what I had. I suppose I could use photoshop or something similar to change the lighting a bit - but I think it takes away from the actual feeling of that day. Which was nasty and ugly out. Thanks for the compliment on the last photo. I have a crap ton more photos - just haven't finished with them. Been extremely busy this past year.

We would be able to offer more help if you could post the photos with EXIF data intact or otherwise post that info.

These photos are dark overall and have poor contrast and color. It may have been a setting or two on the camera that's responsible. They can be improved with some editing. I adjusted the color and tone response of the first one.

I think #3 would be specatular with some brighting of the brush in the front. either that or crop it out.

I agree. #3 is a great shot. IMO it doesn't need any cropping. Just needs to be brighter.

I will see about getting that data for ya'll and getting it on here. It may take me a few days to get it. As it's on another computer that is not set up as of yet.

I did a little tone adjusting in the one of the falls, and while it may not exactly reflect the mood of the day, I think it at least reveals a little more about how the falls looked.

With so many images, you will make it a lot easier for a reviewers to refer to your images if you number them. That way, a reviewer does not have to keep flipping back and forth to make sure that they have the right image. Thanks.
