Please be gentle I'm finally starting to see my pictures get a bit better.. lol.
Taken with Canon 70-300mm no tripod, I used manual and boosted the sharpness before taking them in the "in" camera parameter settings.

I think you are getting some great color here. I am not sure if it is my monitor or not, but 3 is a bit dark, you could try lightening it. You have fantastic detail in these shots, just be mindful of your frames, I know that is difficult when the bird is trying to fly away, but do what you can. Overall I really like them, well done.
