It was up in Rocky Mountain NP. It is reeds growing up out of a lake, on a breezy afternoon, with the sun backlighting it all. The wind was also coming from the same direction as the light, which is why it gets the alternating dark and specular stripes. When I took, I was thinking of making something abstract, and I thought that the tilt would make it become less recognizable, and allow it to just be an enjoyable looking pattern. The upper left corner is essentially "up".
