Thought I could put the suet behind the fence and hanging on tree branch so the squirrel would leave it alone...wrong!! Haha he slipped right through the fencing ..good thing he's cute and entertaining but the birds are not too happy

Some very nice shots and I like your story. He looks funny in #1 because he has that, "OOPS, BUSTED!" look.

I hung my suet basket on a long cord that was strung on a very high branch. I tied the cord to a big wrench and tossed it over.

I hung it where I thought the squirrels would not be able to reach it. But, every now and then, one gets bold enough to attempt the leap from the trunk of the tree to the basket.

Simply yelling usually works but a couple of the very persistent ones have been put on a lead pellet diet.
