I think you have a very nice photo with the proper contrast and coloring. B&w would also work well.

There's quite a bit of haloing around their heads from the post-processing... over-sharpening is my guess.

You would be correct. This has been fixed in the final. Original unsharp mask was at 100% with radius at 10 and threshold 0. I like the look, but the halo is distracting.

I like the pose and expression of the young man on the right. He really makes the picture for me. I'm not sure about the vignetting, though.
