Hello, I wanted to get some opinions on what camera to purchase out of these two for wildlife and landscape photography. I am going to pick one of them up tomorrow and they are going for about the same price with the lens listed. :D

Nikon D7100 with 17-55 2.8 250 shutter count or Nikon D700 with the 28-70 2.8 8,000 shutter count

Ooooh tough. The 17-55 2.8 is a great lens and that combo is amazing in the video department.

On the other hand the D700 is nice too.

I'd go with the D7100 and the 17-55 personally, but neither one of those lenses are great for wildlife. In the lanscape department you'll be good to go out of the box with either.

Thanks for the input.... Good point too, yeah I would need another lens down the line for wildlife for sure, wouldn't have the range with the lens I'm getting with either camera, thanks!
