yes, 8 - 9 year olds. and they tackle hard so you have to wonder if "flag" football might be more appropriate at that age

funny you mention the uni's. I shot an 8-9 year old game a few weeks ago for a client and they were wearing some uniforms that were strikingly similar to the neon yellow ones from Oregon. They even had the wings on the shoulders.
