z8 af on button

my z8 as just stopped taking pictures when using af on button, th we camera is assigned to af on only, focus is working OK, it just won't take pictures, only on shutter release, why

I have no idea why this is happening but I would reset the camera and start over with customizing things. That usually corrects glitches like this.
