I am looking to replace an older (hand me down) nikkor 24-120. Right now, it is not giving me the sharpness that I would expect of it, and have been told that all zoom lenses will "shift" after time.
Have you found this to be true? Should I be looking at a few prime lenses to cover the range instead of a zoom?
