Alpaca

I took this picture today. It is of my alpaca Rascal and I really like it despite the huge blown out area in the upper-right. I tried a few different ways of editting it, and decided that either the original colour or the sepia tone. I was just wondering what you all liked better. Let me here it!

Mmm.. the sepia seems to keep the feel of the original better.

you could crop out a lot of that burnt out area.

I like the original best...the sepia is still nice but doesn't add anything to the original, IMO.

I don't mind the blown highlight here. Maybe a slight crop would help to reduce it's impact...but I think that the subject is strong enough.

Personally, I prefer the original uncroped version. Oddly the B&W does nothing for me, the sepia is nice, but not "friendly". I don't like the cropped one because for some reason my eye is drawn to the food instead of the head. And I like the first because it makes me want to reach in and rub Rascals nose. I could totally see it hanging on my wall :thumbup:
