backdrop color for art

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    i am photographing prints which are mainly white (the paper) with a canon digital rebal xti

    what color should i have behind the piece? black, white, off white

    or does it not make a difference

    What kind of art are we talking about, Photographic, drawings, paintings...Ect?

    I work for an art site and see a lot of art work Photos from users who do not have access to scanners.

    these are silk screened prints remarked with metalic marker and water color

    also i'd like to note we are using two of these

    before remarking the paper is white and the ink is black
