Carolina sunset

I took this at the beach in North Carolina in June. I used a Nikon Coolpix 5200, and I didn't edit the picture.

So, tell me what you like/dislike and what you would have done differently. Also, if anyone wants to do any fancy editing then that's cool too. Thanks.

I agree... I like it. I think I might've tried zooming out a bit and maybe a vertical composition but I'm not sure how much you could improve on the composition. I think if you added a bit of contrast into it the rays might pop a bit more.

Since you said it was okay to edit I raised the contrast and took the exposure down some. Where was this shot by the way.

the rays look better :thumbup: . this was shot at a beach between Beaufort and Hilton Head, South Carolina.

If I lived in that area I would be bankrupt. I could never afford to make all the great images in my mind from the days I lived in wilmington and shot pictures all up and down that coastline.

I totally understand. It is so peaceful and natural there. It's untouched.
