Good idea and nice conversion to B&W.
And now some critique;] First of all the background is cluttered. The roof of the shed(?) is a little bit distracting and the highlights above it are really blown out. Maybe try to stand on something so you'll be higher, and take this shot again, but only include the wall in the background. Not the roof.
Overall i like it, but it could be improved.

Very nice shot almost works, a bit more of the building in it I think would work.
