    Beautifull shots, The way the birds neck is bent and looking backwards really adds to the shot.

    Very good, Ariadne. Where did you take these? It almost looks like they were stuffed and shot in a studio. :)

    And don't you think it's a bit cruel saying the first is "lesser"? You may hurt its feelings. :(

    OMG. Wow. Fantastic shots - Ferny is rite- they almost look like they are done in a studio.

    Thank you so much, everybody. These were taken at the Los Angeles Zoo. My first few shots with the Canon 180mm macro lens. The lens is wonderful, providing the dreamy DOF. These are full frame--I had backed away as far as I could.

    Ferny, I know, "Lesser." :( But the "Greater" is much larger.

    These are both very colorful and very beatiful. They aren't your everyday flamingo shots.
