my 12 year old son use to have one as a pet when he was 5. He wanted to sleep with it one night and took it out of it's tank (we had no idea of course) and cried the next day when he could not find it. I found it several months later when I was moving something in my son's closet - dried up and gross! LOL. Anway, I got off track..what a great shot!

Hey, this toad's got a lovely colour ... and so does the leaf it sits on!
Is this one other of your tarantula-loving friend's pets then?

Sabine used to kiss all toads and frogs she picked up when she was younger but none ever turned into a prince ... awwww ... (all she ever picked up were quite harmless, but she has dropped a good many inside our house and I would find them all dead and dried up, too).
