    Totally different from what I would have expected upon reading the title only, but interesting, all the same. Who maltreated that plant so? You?

    Extremely shallow DOF, as is typical for my 300mm lense when put into macro mode. I'm not always fond of a DOF as shallow as that...........

    It is indoors and was drying up because of the heat.
