I am very happy with the sandisks. but that 2GB will soon be not enough for you and you will buy more cards, i am sure At least if you will shoot RAW.

From what I have seen the 30D is one nice camera. Cannot say much about the lens. except that I would also want some ultrawide lens. but that might be a later investment then for you

Very nice. Great camera, great lens.

For a good, cheap UWA try the Sigma 10 - 20. Picked mine up second hand for £220. Nice & sharp

so that corresponds to 16 - 32 on 35mm format. that is a very useful focal range IMHO.

yea ive looked at the 10 -20 but the 105mm f2.8 macro takes my attention more...
