Definitely been at the eye-liner

Whilst madam looks as if she has been in a battle at the supermarket!
I have never seen so many fighting blackbirds as this season​

These shots are even more closeup than usual...are you doing something different?

Some cropping, but only 7ft away and at full zoom hard to get the complete bird in frame and just moving a hand to zoom out is enough to frighten them. Taken at 200mm (320mm in real money!)
