getting better.....

really starting to like the new flash(fl-50) big improvement over old flash,but would love advice to improve......

its a good starting point, to me her ear seems to be in focus, nothing on her face is though. not sure if you know this, and you may of used this technique and i just cant tell, its best to focus on the person's eyes, her eyes are very pretty and that would also help to accent them well. a little more focus on the face and either less depth of field so that her arm is out of the main shot or more depth of field so that it is apart of the main shot, it seems sort of unsure if it should be a focal point.

the lighting looks good, she's separate from the background and her entire face is lit good job.

pretty girl, nice pose but missed focus.
you need to use your histogram to assess the levels. IMO, this image is too dark.
(If it looks ok on yours, your monitor may need calibration)
