Hey everyone, newbie to photography here!

Hey all, I am a 31 yr old male who never ever thought he'd be thinking of purchasing a "serious" camera. I found I really enjoy taking good nature shots such as sunsets, skies, etc. with my smart phone... and add to this my passion for Formula 1 racing and the fact that I'll be in Montreal for the race this year, ive decided to try and dabble a bit in this and get a decent camera.
I'll be posting some questions pertaining to this in the appropriate sections. Thanks!
