It looks kind of underexposed to me.

Other than that, I don't think its really that bad.

His pose tells a story it seems, but I can't figure out from just this photo what that is.

He looks like hes either tired, disappointed, or has just been defeated.

To be honest I am a little confused by this, which may not be the best thing for this type of shot.

    Hope this helps.

Thats the "I'm disgusted with my playing" pose as far as i know. Now, it definately looks underexposed, but i'll be lenient because i tried shooting many times in a hockey rink. The lighting is awful!

Ya I think shooting indoor sports is quite tricky.

    Thanks everybody for the comments.
This photo is underexposed but these are the EXIF Dati
    Modello: Canon EOS 450D
    Lughezza Focale: 220mm
    Tempo di Scatto: 1/160 sec.
    Diaframma: f/5.6
    ISO: 1600
    Format shot: JPG
and my optical is a Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3,5-6,3 Di II VC.
The brightness has been not good and white setting has been difficult.
The team has lost the match, for this reason the golakeeper has been in that position.
