Holga cameras?

    Anyone got one?
    Ive just ordered one online and really will have no idea what Im doing with it when it arrives.
    Does anyone know much about them or is more just a play around to see the sort of effects u can get?

    The lens is not very good;very soft, but for $20, what can you lose(except $20). There is a gal on photocritique.net that calls her/himself Holga Olga that has posted several pics with one. You can check them out yourself.

    they are described as toy cameras md
    as dlc said, they are mega cheap and made of plastic!
    but they apparently give some weirdly funky results because of the poor workmanship.

    Yeah, the Holga is like the Diana camera. Some people like the light leaks on them, some prefer to use tape to get rid of them.

    I was thinking about getting one because $20 is a cheap way to try medium format. But I ended up getting a 1934 Rolleiflex that I'm in the process of restoring.
