wow, those are some pretty stunning landscapes.

However, the tree in the 2nd one is pretty distracting in my opinion.

Hello there ,Sw1tchFX
Spurious trees often are hard to deal with in uwa shots of the Rockies.
The forest is very dense around some of these lakes, and it comes down to accepting them or not getting the view at all.

Great shots. I got some shots of Pyramid mountain a few weeks ago...sooner or later, I'll get around to processing them.

In order to get a reflection shot of Pyramid Mountain from the island, I would have had to swim out several feet. I don't swim well and the water was cold! LOL

For Jack, nope no polarizer, just the 17-40mm L lens. It was taken from the shade of the trees on the North side of the island.

Thanks for the comments!

Chain saw? Chop the trees down that come into the picture and just wait patiently until all the ripples on the water have calmed down after the tree fell into it? ;)

Just joking.

The views and reflections are absolutely and utterly stunning here!

Could these pics be on the brink of being over-sharpened with USM?

Beautiful scene and nice reflection

what I'd give to live there!!
