I am thinking about getting out of weddings (hate the stress, the hours and the amount of work) and trying to break a niche in solely engagements...

well it could work...but you definitely have a long road ahead of you.
Good luck, and dont' give up. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.

It would be a real shame to lose you as a wedding photog. You have an awful lot of talent.
I love all the shots, but particularly the last one of the hands. Beautiful.

You have some very nice shots here; it would be a shame not to use your talent...
Good luck in whatever decision you do make..

I love these! Very nice! I do seem to notice, though it could be my goofy monitor that the first one had a bluish tint to the skin. It doesn't affect how much I love it though and like I said, could be this monitor. I hate it. LOL
    Nice job!

    thanks!

I have two more weddings for the 2007 season, I am taking all of Nov and Dec off from photography and I am going to decide in that time.........I do like weddings, but I love to shoot engagements cause I get to be in control of almost every shot....

jeepnut i'm hearing you - give me the controlled environment of portraiture than weddings anyday!
i'm with cindy.... the last shot of the hands is hot hot hot! only critique is i think the first and maybe the 3rd too could benefit from a bit more warmth like in 4. x goodluck with your decision making x
