I had two shoots last Sunday allowing me to use my new Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8. It is true love!

I haven't posted anything in here in ages. I hope you like them. I will do a couple more threads of some recent shoots as well.

Kirsten is so fair skinned, its really hard not to lose the detail; but overall I think it went really well.

Great work, it's nice to see some photos from you again.

I don't know if you wanted some critique...but here it is anyway :p

#1. I like the shot, but I want to see more light in her eyes. As you said, her skin is very fair, which makes her eyes look quite dark. We can see in later pics that here eye look great, but we just can't see it in the first couple shots.

#2. Hard to tell but her eyes look dark here as well. Also, the pose isn't all that flattering, specifically her mid section. Even slim people like this young lady will get rolls when they sit like that, and the color difference in the clothing seems to draw attention right to it. It might have been better if she were sitting up straighter.

Other than that, I don't have much to say...except maybe that in #6, I'm not a big fan of how the hands are posed. Overall, it's a great set.

#2 looks like it is on a canvas. Is that a filter?

Some of these have texture overlays on them. I don't use them often, but it works well for some markets like teens and some weddings. #2, #3 & #6 all have a texture overlay.

    Thank you :)
