Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. but,....

I'm looking to buy a laptop for viewing with my onsite customers and to also process the images and then provide the disk onsite to save a return trip. My question is if it's worth it to go ahead with the HD screens and the T8300 or T9300 chip (are these really that much better) Seems like these types of laptops run about 1k more than the ones you buy off the shelf and I'm thinking about having Dell build me one. I will be running PS.

unless you are gaming, or doing alot more than photoshop on the computer i'd say save the money on the processor but a better screen i'd think would be better if you are showing off photos. Which models are you looking at?

The XPS 17" with HD screen....I'm not much into gaming and just want the very best image possible to show my clients thats why I'm going with the HD. I do a lot of highend homes for real estate agents in the 1m+ range.
