Little Johnny Jump Up

I think these are usually sold under the name of "Viola" but I think the common name is "Johnny Jump Up". They are a minature pansy I believe and have edible blossoms. They don't have any taste but they're edible. I bought some for a flower bed 8 years ago and they have been reseeding themselves since. Blooms are about 5/8 inch across the longest side.

Nice one, as usual Dan. I would have guessed it was a pansy, but my flower ID ability is pretty much confined to color.

niiccceee, i love the way the purple really goes against the green in the background, and i also love how clear that picture is!
