Hey guys! I've been a long time lurker and now first time C&C requester, if thats a phrase. Just took this shot from the Long Beach airport while I was at work. Did a little bit of post processing a few minutes ago and think I'm about there.

Am I doing anything right or wrong? I know I still have a lot to learn!

    Thanks!!

Well it's pretty obvious you did something to the sky. There's a "clean" spot between the land and the clouds. Maybe if you shot a bit more land from far off and used the smoke, give the viewer a bit more to imagine with.

    The smoke looks unappealingly green.
