I am thinking of getting a macro filter for my nikon 18-135mm. Which one should I get, it needs to be under $70.

don't

get a macro lens. there are very few usable "add on" macro attachments. some filters are DECENT, but almost always degrade images quality in some way

Macro Filter? Sounds strange. You mean it's a lens that goes in front of the lens, screws on, one size threaded and that all means trouble.

Besides a stand alone lens, which you'll never find for $70, take a look at extension tubes, which don't turn your good lens into mush. Good ones will work with any lens you own, now or in the future.

Thanks for your quick advice.
